Brief description of the problem
Bot works fine as well as poseidon.
At first its Received then Query then Sent
After a few hours, poseidon stop querying and only display "Received query from client #"
What you have done so far
Tried separating PoseidonServer and Bots Link
Still same result.
Portion of config that is relevant to the problem.
No idea
Any other useful information:
Usually it stops querying after about 3 hours of botting.

Re: Poseidon stops querying 2.0.7
Since poseidon eats up a lot of your processor, it will eventually crash if your processor couldn't handle it anymore. It happens to me all the time. I just have to limit my bots to say four, and i could bot with no problem.
Also I have observed that openkore eventually eats up processing power, from 1% to 8% after botting for a couple of hours. This could explain why poseidon crashes after sometime, because the processor could no longer keep up.

But that doesn't explain why does it crash between 2 computers.dodecagon wrote:Since poseidon eats up a lot of your processor, it will eventually crash if your processor couldn't handle it anymore. I tried using 2 computers, 1 dedicated for poseidon and 1 dedicated for bot.
Still same result.

Poseidon itself cannot handle a large amount of bots - it was not designed to do that.

Re: Poseidon stops querying 2.0.7
You can try opening RO while botting and see if GG will open again? I haven't tried that though.
I too get DC's after sometime and some cases (after 12 hours, or when laptop switches to low power mode) but it's fine. I think that's the problem with poseidon, just have to live with it. I couldn't understand the source code and I don't know where it went wrong in these cases. Just a theory though, (since GG queries openkore, openkore sends the query to poseidon server, poseidon queries RO client, RO client replies, poseidon sends the reply to openkore and openkore sends the reply to GG ) I think poseidon couldn't handle two queries at the same time. It must finish the query process of the first one, before it could accept another or it would crash, just like what happens when it displays only "Received query from client 0".

@kali
Some of my friends also have that kind of problem.
Even with 1 Poseidon 1 Client and 1 Openkore.
Usually mine takes about 4 hours.

The problem is that the RO client is unpredictable. Sometimes it will return a response, sometimes it won't.
We really can't do much to ensure reliability other than cracking the encryption. But if we do that, we run into the shield vs. cannon makers dilemma.
