Grand cross on non aggressives?

I was wondering as to how my GC cruz can GC on non aggressives by first mobbing them. Goats are easier as they have assist skill. But wat about those that dont have assist skill? Also, how can i first provoke on them w8 till a good no. of mob surrounds me and then i GC, till then just endure and walk around the map to find more of the same non aggressive monster to provoke?
